The Cobra II had everything customers wanted – a target audio system, superior depth, excellent stability in highly mineralized ground. Improvements continued, SST (Smart Scan Technology) and DS (Deep Search Mode) was added, and the target identification system became programmable. Again, this model NEVER missed for 10 years!
In 2005 the Cobra series went all the way and became an all-purpose land, beach and water unit submersible to up to 130 ft. underwater. Operating at the same 12.5kHz frequency, this version is watertight and lightweight. It has the same automatic features that made the original King Cobra a hit, and is everything you need to successfully find the deepest buried coins and jewelry.
The success of the completely submersible Cobra encouraged yet another model – the Cobra Wader. With the same depth and sensitivity, this version allows the user to focus less on water detecting and more on beach, sand and dry land.
