This powerful, intelligent metal detector will help you find treasures that have been both lost and missed by the generations before you either on land or 200ft. under the sea! The Excalibur II we’re featuring comes with a powerful 8” searchcoil and state of the art submersible headphones.
This Minelab Excalibur II comes with a 8” Double ‘D’ coil that contains two ‘D’ shaped windings and is perfect for locating deep targets. The Double ‘D’ coil provides you with a detection pattern as you search that is “blade like” and is sensitive from tip to heel. This searchcoil is versatile and deep-seeking, making it effective for any type of detecting.
Because the Excalibur II was meant to be submersible, you can take this coil and the entire detector into 200 feet of water without any adverse affects – this means the possibilities of finding treasure are almost limitless!
Possibly the most impressive aspect of the Excalibur II may not be its capacity to go 200ft. under water, but its 17 frequencies. This is possible thanks to the BBS (Broad Band Spectrum) technology. Find thin gold nuggets and delicate jewelry other detectors miss, while ignoring hot rocks, salt, terra cotta and overall changing ground conditions.
The Excalibur’s 17 frequencies literally provide an “Iron Mask” feature that allows you to reject iron, yet still detect good, valuable treasure scattered among it. The range of the Excalibur’s transmission is from 1.5 kHz to 25.5 kHz (done in 1.5 kHz increments). All 17 frequencies are transmitted together at one time, operating simultaneously with multiple tone responses.
Thankfully these multiple, simultaneous frequencies are easy-to-use and understand. Just like a single frequency detector, you turn on the Excalibur II, set the controls between operating modes, and start your treasure hunt. The Excalibur II will do the majority of the work by interpreting target signals, removing ground mineralization interference and analyzing the remaining signal. The only sound you’ll hear is the one indicating you’ve found treasure!
There are two operating modes on the Excalibur II – “Discriminate” mode and “Pinpoint” mode. While these modes seem simple in theory, we’re sure you’ll find them both to be quite powerful. Simply set the controls to your desired position depending on your location and what your desired treasure is and go!

This powerful, Pulse Induction metal detector will help you find treasures that have been both lost and missed by the generations before you either on land or 200ft. under the sea! The Infinium LS we’re featuring comes with a powerful 10” x 14” PROformance Power DD searchcoil and underwater headphones.
A PROformance DD 10” x 14” submersible searchcoil at the end of the Infinium LS is state-of-the-art “Rhino Tough” and interchangeable with three other sizes. This searchcoil is versatile and deep-seeking, making it effective for any type of detecting. Because the Infinium LS was meant to be submersible, you can take this coil and the entire detector into 200 feet of water without any adverse affects – this means the possibilities of finding treasure are almost limitless!
Possibly the most impressive aspect of the Infinium LS may not be its capacity to go 200ft. under water, but its 96 frequencies. No other manufacturer even comes close to creating a detector with this many frequencies! This is possible thanks to the API (Advanced Pulse Induction) technology that simultaneously provides the greatest number of multiple frequencies of any detector on the market – meaning you’ll find more with this detector than with any other! Find thin gold nuggets and delicate jewelry other detectors miss, while ignoring hot rocks, salt, terra cotta and overall changing ground conditions.
In addition to the plethora of frequencies provided by the Infinium LS, you’ll also be impressed with the detection depth and stability in mineralized environments. This means that no matter where you are – Arizona gold fiends, the volcanic rockslides of the Pacific Northwest or the black-sand beaches on the coast of Italy – the Infinium LS will provide the best results for the active treasure hunter because it can literally go anywhere. If you’re hunting in similar soil, the Infinium’s “Automatic Ground Tracking allows you to “lock” the ground track for the best performance. If you notice changes in the soil, choose “slow” or “fast” automatic tracking.
The “Discrimination” dial will allow you to treasure hunt “all metals” or narrow it down to a specific type. And the audible target identification assists you by employing different sounds for different metals. The best part is that the discrimination specifications are available for nearly 100% of the Infinium’s detection depth, not just your surface targets!
With adjustable and automatic ground tracking, nine advanced discrimination levels, Tone ID for enhanced target information, and a fully submersible and all-environment design, the Infinium LS is by far the most technologically advanced multiple frequency detector on the market.

The Cobra II had everything customers wanted – a target audio system, superior depth, excellent stability in highly mineralized ground. Improvements continued, SST (Smart Scan Technology) and DS (Deep Search Mode) was added, and the target identification system became programmable. Again, this model NEVER missed for 10 years!
In 2005 the Cobra series went all the way and became an all-purpose land, beach and water unit submersible to up to 130 ft. underwater. Operating at the same 12.5kHz frequency, this version is watertight and lightweight. It has the same automatic features that made the original King Cobra a hit, and is everything you need to successfully find the deepest buried coins and jewelry.
The success of the completely submersible Cobra encouraged yet another model – the Cobra Wader. With the same depth and sensitivity, this version allows the user to focus less on water detecting and more on beach, sand and dry land.
